\u201cGOCHAMAZE\u201d\uff08mix up\uff09Latin America<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u3000We JOCA Tohoku\u2019s global promotion team held a JICA Knowledge Co-Creation Program for Young Leaders themed Support for Persons with Disabilities from December 7th<\/sup> 2022 to January 25th<\/sup> 2023. On this program, 8 people from 4 countries of Latin America (Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Bolivia) participated regardless of much time difference between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u3000We would like to introduce the program that attracted learners the most. That\u2019s the virtual tour of the facility which our association manages. The concept is \u201cGOCHAMAZE\u201d(mix in Japanese).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u3000One of the learners working at a total care center for people with disabilities in Dominican Republic had a following opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u3000The volunteer group \u201cIwanuma\u3000Shougai\u3000Kyouryokutai\u201d\u3000is active for local contribution.<\/em> And the people with or without disability have communications each other.<\/em> I would like to take in them to my workplace.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u3000Another Dominican learner was interested in the employment support for people with disabilities at our facility\uff1a the soba restaurant and the gym.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u3000That was amazing!<\/em> What is the meaning of type A and type B on the employment support for people with disabilities in Japan?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u3000She asked. Moreover, a learner from Costa Rica said these things. JOCA Tohoku is a\uff4e excellent place for people with disabilities.<\/em> There are no walls on the communication among people<\/em> with disabilities and non-disability.<\/em> Who the facility manages, a public or a private company?<\/em> Are there any other facilities like JOCA Tohoku in Japan?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u3000On the virtual tour, 2 staff reported the place and the people all around the facility with a cameraman. Speaking Spanish, a staff explained our services in detail and that was a big impact for learners. Learners said they want to come to see our GOCHAMAZE with their own eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JOCA Tohoku is supposed to work for our vision to deliver our knowledges and experiences about support for people with disabilities to the world and communicate with people all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
